Script for “B-Movie High School” skit, PGP #54

Intro

Hello listeners. I was quite flattered to be asked to teach mad professor studies at the local comprehensive high school. Obviously being local to the Psychobilly Garden of Delights it’s not your usual run of the mill school
*doors open*
*heels down hall*

I’ll show you around… Obviously (otherwise it would be a pretty short visit to the garden wouldn’t it… I mean… come on)

Nate: Here Mr. Kanyine’s class - Werewolf studies 101.
Mr.  Kanyine - Now class, eemember that that as you near your “time of the month” certain urges will take over like wanting to sniff the bottom of the opposite send. Licking your own genitals and the urge to urinate whereever you smell urine.
Mr.  Kanyine - So a few tips… when the urge comes to smell the bottom of the opposite sex you can pretend to have gotten a sudden pain in your lower back… whilst bending over forwards you can sharply inhale as long as you remember to make an owwww noise at the same time.
Nate: Let’s move on down the hall.
*Walking noises down hall*
Nate: Here is one of the more popular classes at the high school. Vampire class. Unfortunately, ever since The Twilight Saga it’s been full of girly-boys and sexually repressed teenage girls, but it’s still an interesting class.
*Door opening noise*
Student: (fades in) and I just didn’t know what I was doing wrong Mr. Flapperbatz… her eyes started bulging and there was claret everywhere.
Mr. Flapperbatz: Well you see… this is a common mistake Mathew - you have blown when you should have sucked! Do you see? From what I have heard in the teacher’s lounge, when in doubt you can ask your mother about this… she never makes this mistake.
*Class laughing sound*
Nate: Oh! He’s a joker that Mr. Flapperbatz!
*walking down the hall sound*
Nate: This will be interesting… look there drama studies. A much more important class at B-Monster High School than you would imagine.
*Door opening noise*
Nate: Do you mind if we just watch?
Teacher: Not at all Mr. Bunty.
Nate: It’s Bunting. B.U.N.T.I.N.G (fading to mumbling)
Teacher: So, let’s give it another try shall we?
Student#1: Yes, Sir
Studen#2: Yes, Sir
Student #1: I had to search the bowels of Hell, but I found someone, someone wholl make em remember. That fear is my ticket home.
Teacher: No, no, no. When delivering your final reasons for killing you have to use your dark voice and dramatic pauses. Remember… deathly quote, pause, deathly quote. One more time.
Student#1:I had to search the bowels of Hell, but I found someone, someone wholl make em remember. That fear is my ticket home.
Teacher: Much better.
Nate: Thank you!
*door close*
Nate: OK listeners. It’s time for me to go and teach my class now. There it is. Anyway, take care and we’ll speak soon.
*Door opening noise*
Nate: Hello class!
Student’s: Hello Sir! Mwuah-hahhahahaha.
Nate: Excellent. Let’s try our Mwuahha’s with a bit more feeling!

What an incredibly stylish band. I discovered them quite a while back and would really love to see them sometime.

1 note

This website is in German, but seems like an interesting fanzine for those into punk, and hardcore.

I’ve been listening to The Photon Torpedoes quite a lot lately and dug up this nice interview with them. They have a very clean, brutal psychobilly sound and despite being from Boston in the US they have a very British psychobilly style. I’m lovin’ it!

Ratchetblade Records have Mr. Badwrench on their books.
